Confidentiality

Confidentiality

You are sending unpublished work. Here is exactly what happens to it, in plain language. This page describes how Reviewer Ready works today; the privacy policy and terms are the formal versions.

The short version

  • Your files are used only for your engagement.
  • Your materials are used only to complete the agreed engagement.
  • No one outside Reviewer Ready sees your files without your written permission.
  • Files are deleted within 30 days of delivery, sooner if you ask.
  • An NDA is available before you send anything.

How your files reach us

You send a link to your files (for example a Google Drive or Dropbox share) through the quote form, or after you approve the quote. You decide what the link opens and for how long. Please use view-only access, and turn the link off once we confirm delivery. Not ready to share files? Your answers on the form are enough to get a quote.

The quote form itself is emailed to our business mailbox (Zoho Mail). It is not stored in a separate database.

How we handle them

We open or download a working copy to the reviewer’s own computer and do the work there. Your materials are used only to complete the agreed engagement. They are not uploaded to analytics tools or shared workspaces.

Who can see them

Only Nedim Yel, PhD, who does the review. Reviewer Ready has no employees or contractors. If outside help were ever needed on a project, I would contact you first and share nothing without your written permission, and anyone helping would sign a written confidentiality agreement before seeing your files.

Review and accountability

Every deliverable is read, checked, and finalized by Nedim Yel, PhD, before it is sent. The privacy policy and engagement terms explain how materials are handled and the conditions of the work.

How long we keep them

Files are deleted from all systems within 30 days of report delivery. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time through the quote form; write “deletion request” in the notes. We keep the quote request and our correspondence with you only as long as needed to respond and to run your project.

NDA

A confidentiality agreement or NDA is available on request, before you send any file. Mention it on the quote form, or in reply to the confirmation email, and we will send one for signature before you share anything.

What we ask of you

  • Do not send sensitive or participant-level data: no names, contact details, health or student records, or anything covered by an IRB protocol or data use agreement that forbids sharing. A manuscript, summary tables, or synthetic or public data is enough. The one exception is the Reanalysis Execution Sprint, which needs a de-identified analysis dataset (no names, contact details, or direct identifiers) and only if your IRB approval or data use agreement allows you to share it; send it after the quote is approved, never through the form.
  • Do not include passwords, API keys, or tokens in files or code.
  • You are responsible for confirming that you are allowed to share what you send.

Reproducibility Check

For the check, we run your code on the reviewer’s own computer in a disposable environment, so the rerun cannot touch other files. We use only public or synthetic data. If your project needs credentials, large downloads, or restricted data, tell us on the form and we will scope around it or decline.

What is outside our control

Your link provider (Google, Dropbox, or similar) and email carriers handle your files and messages under their own policies while in transit or in your account. This site sets no cookies and uses cookieless analytics; see the privacy policy.
