Questions before you get started?
Choosing a service, sharing files, understanding the scope, and knowing what happens next. Find answers about all four Reviewer Ready services.
Which service should I choose?
Statistical Manuscript Review examines methods, reporting and interpretation. Manuscript Results Check traces agreed numbers in your paper to their R or Python output. Reproducibility Check focuses on rerunning one agreed output and identifying environment or dependency problems. Reanalysis Execution Sprint runs up to three reviewer-requested analyses on your data and checks each independently. Tell us what you are concerned about; we can help scope the right check.
Do I need to provide code or data?
For a Statistical Manuscript Review, start with the manuscript and your questions; code or output may be requested depending on scope. A Manuscript Results Check needs the Word manuscript, relevant R or Python code, and the intended analysis version. A Reproducibility Check needs a runnable project and the output you want reproduced. A Reanalysis Execution Sprint needs the reviewer letter and, after you approve the quote, a de-identified analysis dataset. Please start with a project description rather than sending sensitive or participant-level data. We agree on access and an appropriate data arrangement before work begins.
What will I receive?
Each service has its own deliverable. A manuscript review locates issues, explains why they matter, and suggests fixes; see the sample statistical review. A results check provides a claim-to-output record and discrepancy findings; see the sample results check. A reproducibility check provides a rerun checklist, captured environment and prioritized fixes. A reanalysis sprint provides reproducible code, revised tables beside your originals, a change log and a Word crosswalk. The quote confirms the scope and delivery format.
How much does it cost, and how long does it take?
We respond to quote requests within 72 hours. Statistical Manuscript Review has tiered, flat pricing and a standard turnaround of five business days; rush work is considered separately. Manuscript Results Check, Reproducibility Check and Reanalysis Execution Sprint are pilots, with scope, fee and turnaround confirmed for each project. Work starts after you approve the quote.
Does a results check cover every number in my paper?
We agree on the sections and tables in advance, with a pilot limit of 80 numeric claims. Figures, footnotes, text boxes and unusual table layouts may need separate handling. The report states the scope and exclusions. Checking correspondence with output does not establish that the analysis itself is statistically appropriate.
What if a result cannot be reproduced or linked confidently?
We document the problem and request the missing calculation, dependency or context. Supplied output is distinguished from results reproduced during the check. A matching number alone is insufficient to confirm a manuscript claim, and an unsupported claim remains identified as unsupported. We do not invent missing results.
Who reviews the findings?
Nedim Yel, PhD, reviews the findings and makes the final judgments. You work directly with him to agree on the scope and discuss the results. Uncertain claim-to-output links require clarification before they can be confirmed.
Do you keep my files confidential?
Yes. Materials are used solely to complete the agreed review, are not shared outside Reviewer Ready without your written permission, and are deleted from all systems within 30 days of report delivery. A signed confidentiality agreement or NDA is available before you share files. See our confidentiality approach and privacy policy.
What if no problems are found?
If no problems are found, the report records the checks completed, their results and any limitations. It is documentation of the agreed review, rather than a guarantee of journal acceptance or validation of the entire study.
Can you run the analyses requested by my reviewers?
Yes. The Reanalysis Execution Sprint covers one reviewer letter and up to three agreed analyses on your existing data. You approve the analysis plan before anything is run. It returns reproducible R code, revised tables beside the originals, a change log and a Word crosswalk linking reviewer requests to results. Models are checked independently before delivery. The current scope focuses on linear models; other model families are considered case by case. It does not write your response letter. Larger reanalyses or additional reviewer letters are scoped separately.
Can I pay with a university P-Card or grant funds?
If you plan to use university or grant funds, tell us during the quote request. We can provide an itemized invoice describing the agreed statistical review or analysis services. Share any billing details or vendor paperwork your institution requires so we can confirm the purchasing arrangement before work begins.
Your institution determines whether the expense is eligible and which payment methods it permits. Please confirm grant eligibility and P-Card requirements with your purchasing or grants office; card acceptance and any required vendor setup must be confirmed before you approve the quote.
